Cebu's iconic
Cebu Parklane International Hotel lights up its Christmas belen kickstarting the yuletide celebration.
Instead of the traditional tree, the hotel chose to light a belen as a symbol of hope, a fresh start from the months of darkness brought by the pandemic.

ππ π·ππππ," says the hotel's statement.
But like the past years, Cebu Parklane continues its tradition to use old materials - from hotel empty shampoo bottles to old yet still usable bulbs.
The belen sits at the hotel lobby so that all guests passing by it will be reminded that it's Christmas, and that hope is still in the air.
