To allow its Cebuano customers experience a Ford vehicle and avail of
exclusive offers and discounts upon purchase, Ford Philippines brought its
test-drive road show Cebu last Sept. 22 to 24.
“The Ford Island Conquest is Ford Philippines’ ultimate test drive
experience that allows customers to test drive the Everest mid-size SUV,
EcoSport compact SUV, and the segment-defining Ranger pickup,” read Ford’s
statement released to the media.
Car enthusiasts and interested buyers put Ford’s vehicles to a test
drive at SM City parking area for the entire day.
“Cebu is a big car market in the Visayas region so we are very excited
to bring our Ford Island Conquest after a series of successful rollouts in
Luzon and Metro Manila,”said Rodel Gallega, vice president for marketing and
sales, Ford Philippines.
A mock-up Ford showroom was also set up at the Ford Island Conquest to
allow opportunities for customers to learn more about Ford’s sales and
after-sales services and special ownership packages. There were also freebies
to those who registered and participated in the activities, and discounts for customers
who purchased Ford vehicles.
Engineered to deliver an extraordinary experience in performance and
comfort, the Ford Everest is designed to cruise through the city or to
effortlessly take on any terrain. Its bold and stylish design features a quiet,
refined interior, smart technologies, exceptional on-road dynamics, and
capabilities that include best-in-class ground clearance of 225mm and
water-wading up to 800mm.
The EcoSport combines the maneuverability, affordability, and fuel
economy of a compact car with the practicality and spaciousness of an SUV in a
contemporary and stylish package. With
200mm ground clearance, the EcoSport’s versatility can take on any urban
adventure in style.
The Ranger sets the industry benchmark in the pickup truck segment with
its unmatched combination of quality, passenger comfort, and versatility. With
237mm ground clearance, 800mm water wading, and unsurpassed towing capacity, no
flood can intimidate this smart and ‘Built Ford Tough’ truck.
Ford Cebu started operations in 1999 and is currently home to 146
employees in the sales, service and finance departments. The Ford Everest, Ford
EcoSport, and Ford Ranger are its top-selling vehicles, complementing the
different transportation needs of the Cebuano car market: Everest for big
families and entrepreneurs, Ranger for customers who are into the construction
and real estate businesses, and the EcoSport which mostly appeals to young
professionals, woman drivers, and smaller families. – (PR)
