The Mendero Medical Center launched last week the Mitsumi-Generali Ward, a
portion of the hospital which is in partnership with Mitsumi and Generali
Philippines.
Dr. Samuel Mendero III, the hospital director, in his speech during the
ceremonial ribbon-cutting, said the Mitsumi Generali Ward was made through a
partnership between Mendero, Mitsumi, and Generali Philippines.
“We are committed to bringing the highest level of healthcare. With
every new addition to our hospital, we’re building up a one-stop shop that
delivers all the health care needs for the people of Northern Cebu,” said Dr.
Mendero.
The hospital is in Barangay Pitogo, Consolacion, Cebu.
The Mitsumi-Generali is an 8-bed ward located on the third floor of the
Mendero Medical Center. It is for exclusive for Mitsumi employees and
dependents.
Dr. Mendero said more beds will be added to the ward in the future.
Mendero said being their long-time partner, they also give discounts,
special rates, and preferential treatment to the Mitsumi employees and their
dependents. Mitsumi has been a Mendero client for 3 years.
“The opening of the Mitsumi-Generali Ward signals the growth of Mendero
Medical Center as the premiere location for medical care in northern Cebu, and
this ward is also one way for us to further strengthen our relationship with
one of our most valued clients” said Dr. Mendero.
A 250-bed tertiary care level 2 hospital, the Mendero Medical Center began
medical operations in February 6, 2014.
Over the years, the hospital has been in constant innovation, updating its
equipment, and expanding its ranks of passionate and competent hospital staff
including the doctors.
Its services include laboratory, pharmaceutical, radiology, nursing,
Intensive Care Unit, delivery room, cardiology unit, Operating Rooms, doctor’s
clinics, Emergency Rooms, and dietary services. (PR)
