As part of its
rebranding strategy, Anita’s Home Bakeshop reintroduced its top-three breads in
all its 19 branches all over Cebu.
Anita’s pandesal,
cheese bread and coco bread were recently recognized by Sunstar Cebu as the “winning
bread” in its Sunstar Best of Cebu 2016.
Last week, Anita’s
invited the media for a food-tasting event of their improved winning breads.
“Anita Cabinian has
since retired from her position at the company and now her son Benjamin is at
the helm of the business, with new ideas and a vision of taking the brand to
new heights. The company has embarked on a holistic brand strategy, improving
the look and feel of the bakeshops and creating new ways to connect with its
customers,” read the statement released by Anita’s to the media.
One of its key initiatives
is refining the look of the logo, retaining the 40-year-old brand by simplifying
it, thus making it more iconic and memorable. Over the next few months, the
stores and the packaging will reflect this new change, although Anita’s assured
its customers they will still get the same quality bread and pastries, if not
improved.
