Calyx last week introduced its new performer, Swedish Caloy Juapo. Albeit Swedish, Caloy has become popular because of his videos where he performs Cebuano songs.
Renz Tajan, marketing strategist for Calyx, said since they opened their acoustic nights this year, people from Cebu IT Park have made it a point to drop by the building to spend their weekends there. Restaurants like Sunburst and Hikay, and even the nearby Serenitea are open until 11p.m. from Thursdays to Saturdays for these weekend nights at Calyx.
Meanwhile, Caloy Juapo, formally starts his gig on April 27 from 9p.m. onwards.
