AirAsia announces cancelled flights for March

Following the maintenance of Tagaytay’s air traffic radar, AirAsia Philippines has cancelled a number of flights from March 6 to 10.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines recently ordered for a temporary closure of the air traffic radar in Tagaytay for a scheduled upgrade, which prompts airlines including AirAsia to cancel its flights from March 6 to 10, 2017.

The affected flights are Manila to Tagbilaran and vice versa, Manila to Davao and vice versa, Manila to Puerto Princesa and vice versa, Manila to Tacloban and vice versa, Manila to Kalibo and vice versa and Manila to Cebu and vice versa. (For the complete list, please see photo.)

AirAsia has advised affected passengers to choose from these options:

1. Move to the next available flights of the same route within 30 days from original departure.
2. Credit shell valid for 90 days 
3. Refund
“We will provide updates as soon as they are available. Guests will also receive SMS and E-mail notifications based on the contact information on their booking,” read AirAsia Philippines’ statement.
